How to search the text in screenshots on a Mac
Yes. Since macOS Ventura, Spotlight can find screenshots by the text inside them, using Live Text, in the languages Live Text reads. Press ⌘Space and type a word you remember. It can miss screenshots that aren’t indexed yet or sit in excluded folders, and it can’t search by the app a screenshot came from.
